Kindergartner's are all different and learn using different styles and at different rates. Some children can identify all upper and lower case letters at the beginning of school. Most children enjoy games and activities using the alphabet. If a lesson seems too easy let your child feel success completing that lesson. We have lots of activities at school that can extend their learning. For some children more practice is necessary and skills begin to come together later. I Promise to contact you if your child needs more help.
I have researched Kindergarten learning styles. Some behaviors that may seem strange to an adult are really how children learn. Children who learn by hearing(auditory learners) need to verbally practice what they hear for recall to take place. Children who are very busy are often Kinesthetic learners. When they practice reading, or learn new words they often don't sit still. Most children are a combination of styles.
