Kindergarteners will be entering school in the morning through the glass doors under the canopy. No Kindergartener is ever allowed to walk alone. Please wait in your car until a staff member comes and checks for fever. I f you arrive after 8:15 you must check your child in at the school office. Please park in the parking lot, do not leave your car in the drop off without a driver in the driver's seat.
Dismissal is at the same door. Children will be brought to the car when you pull up in the drop off lane. You must wait in your car. Staff members are on duty to help children walk to their car safely.
If you need to help your child with seatbelts or car seat please use the lane closest to the building to help with the flow of traffic.
Kindergarten is a full day program. We have lots of activities including games, singing, active learning and lots of fun. We learn to work by ourselves and in a group. Please don't worry about your child learning at the same rate as another child. Children come in at different levels and I promise to contact you if your child needs more help.
Please check papers and daily work to see if your child needs extra explanation. I go over lessons with children and we erase and correct in class. Yellow highlighter to trace over letters can help beginning printers practice making letters correctly.
